Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all training courses, assessments, workshops, and learning programmes delivered by DIA Academy, operated by DIA (Int.) Limited (“we”, “us”, or “our”), including:

  • Bite sized Learning Sessions

  • Blended Learning programmes

  • On Road Training

  • Online Workshops

  • Online Self Guided Learning

  • Online Courses and Presentations

  • Classroom Workshops

It should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.


1. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.


2. How to Cancel or Request a Refund

Requests must be made in writing to:

help@diaacademy.co.uk

Include your name, booking reference, course title, and booking date.


3. Cooling Off Period for Distance Sales

Where booked online or at a distance, you normally have 14 days to cancel.

For digital content, this right may end once access begins or materials are downloaded.


4. Bite Sized Learning Sessions and Online Workshops

For live webinars:

  • cancellations within 14 days receive a full refund

  • after 14 days, refunds are not normally available

  • access to recordings may limit cancellation rights


5. Online Courses and Presentations

For half day or full day Zoom courses:

  • cancellations within 14 days receive a full refund

  • after 14 days, refunds are not normally available


6. Online Self Guided Learning

For self paced courses:

  • cancellations within 14 days are eligible only if not activated

  • after activation, no refund is normally available


7. Classroom Workshops

For face to face sessions:

  • cancellations within 14 days receive a full refund

  • after 14 days, refunds are not normally available


8. On Road Training

For in car training:

  • cancellations within 14 days receive a full refund

  • after 14 days, refunds are not normally available


9. Blended Learning Programmes

Refund entitlement depends on which elements have already been accessed or delivered.


10. Failure to Attend

Non attendance normally results in no refund.


11. Exceptional Circumstances

We may consider refunds or transfers in exceptional cases at our discretion.


12. Changes or Cancellations by DIA Academy

If we cancel or materially change a course, you will be offered:

  • a full refund, or

  • a transfer to another date

We are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, subsistence, or other third party costs you have arranged, such as hotel bookings, unless required by law.


13. Refund Method and Timescales

Refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 14 days of approval.


14. Transfers and Substitutions

Transfers or substitutes may be allowed subject to availability.
