This intensive online workshop is designed to help you master the essential skills that underpin successful Part 3 tests and Standards Checks. Focused on practical lesson delivery, risk management and client-centred training techniques, the session equips you with the tools and confidence to deliver structured, engaging and DVSA-compliant lessons.

Throughout the workshop, you will explore what makes a lesson truly effective, from coaching conversations and motivational techniques to observation skills, feedback methods and managing risk. The emphasis is on practical application, helping you strengthen your approach and improve consistency in both test situations and everyday teaching.

Will the workshop be recorded?
No. This is a live, interactive session and recordings are not provided.
Do I need to be preparing for an assessment to attend?
No. Many trainers attend to refresh and strengthen their core instructional skills, even if they are not immediately preparing for a test.

What are Online Workshops?

Online Workshops are interactive, live online sessions delivered in small groups. These workshops encourage active participation through practical tasks, group discussions, and breakout activities. They are designed to replicate the engagement of in-person workshops while offering the convenience of remote access. Attendance is limited, typically to 8 to 12 participants, to ensure maximum engagement.

How To Attend

This session is delivered via Zoom, allowing Driver Trainers to join from the comfort of their own home or office. Zoom is a widely used video conferencing platform that enables live, interactive participation without the need for travel. The Zoom link will be sent on the working day before the session and again 30 minutes before the session starts. Please ensure you are able to access and navigate Zoom before the session starts. If youu2019re unable to join due to technical issues, we cannot guarantee a place on an alternative session.
