Bite-sized Learning Sessions

Mental Health: Creating a Positive Learning Environment

Mental Health- Creating a Positive Learning Environment
Learn how to create a supportive learning environment by understanding your pupils from the outset. This session explores profiling, wellbeing considerations, and practical ways to support positive learning experiences.

At work, during a driving or riding lesson, or in any professional setting, it’s important to create an environment that promotes learning, as outlined in the national standards for driver and rider training. To do this effectively, trainers need to understand their pupils as much as possible from the outset.

This session explores how to gather relevant information through a pupil or new customer profiler, this can be as simple as asking a few key questions during your onboarding process, including details about health conditions and medication. We’ll also introduce the Five Steps to Mental Wellbeing and how they can support both you and your pupils.
