🕒 Time: 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm
Running time: 1 hour 30 minutes

This online session is designed to help PDIs and ADIs build a solid foundation in lesson planning, a key area that often determines success or failure in Part 3 and Standards Checks. If you have ever felt unsure about how to structure your lessons effectively, this session will guide you through a practical framework that you can apply immediately. With the right approach, lesson planning becomes simple, consistent and tailored to both your pupils’ needs and DVSA expectations.

Why Attend This Session?

As you may already know, the pass rate for Part 3 of the ADI qualification remains low, and most qualified ADIs achieve a Grade B. One of the most common reasons for this is ineffective lesson planning.

Many PDIs mistakenly believe that using a diagram or visual aid constitutes a lesson plan. While these tools can be helpful, they are not substitutes for a properly structured session. A string of cartoon illustrations and an overview of MSPSGLADA is unlikely to help your client recall key points, especially when the explanation itself is rushed or overly simplified.

This session will walk you through a proven lesson planning structure that supports not just your Part 3 and Standards Check but every lesson you deliver. With continued use, planning structured and impactful lessons will become second nature to you.
