🕒 Time: 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm
Running time: 1 hour 30 minutes

This online session focuses on strengthening your risk management techniques to help you deliver safe, effective and engaging driving lessons. Aimed at both PDIs and ADIs, it offers practical guidance on how to teach in a way that supports real learning, keeps pupils involved and meets DVSA standards for Part 3 and Standards Checks.

Why Attend This Session?

The DVSA focuses on three key questions during a Part 3 or Standards Check: has learning taken place, was the risk managed and did you give value for money. If you fail to manage risk, you will not pass. Many PDIs and ADIs struggle with this because they do not fully understand how risk management is essential for achieving any lesson goal. This presentation will give you a clear understanding of how to manage risk in a way that supports learning and keeps your client safe. You will learn the four key steps involved in managing risk and how to provide appropriate feedback when safety critical incidents occur. By the end of the session, you will know how to manage risk effectively so that your client can still achieve their original learning goal.
