Whatever experience we have with mental health, whether it’s something we’ve been through ourselves, are currently living with, or have only observed in others, starting a conversation with someone who is living with a mental health condition can feel daunting. However, it may be a vital step in helping them access the support they need.
Whether it’s a family member, friend, neighbour, or work colleague, knowing when, where, and how to start that conversation isn’t always easy. In this session, we’ll explore ways to approach these discussions sensitively and respectfully. We’ll also examine the short- and long-term effects of stress on the human body.
