Have you ever been in a situation with a pupil that left you feeling uncomfortable, where it felt like a professional line had been crossed? Professional boundaries are invisible markers we need to understand, recognise, and respect in order to preserve the integrity of a professional working relationship.
Crossing these boundaries, whether by the pupil or the trainer, can lead to serious consequences that may be stressful and time-consuming to resolve. In this session, we’ll also include an overview of the DVSA’s complaints procedures and what they can mean for ADIs and PDIs. A case study and questions at the end of the session will help you apply these concepts to your everyday training.
