Safeguarding: County Lines Gangs and Cuckooing

Safeguarding- County Lines Gangs and Cuckooing
County lines gangs and cuckooing are serious safeguarding concerns that can affect people of all ages. This session helps trainers understand what these issues are, how to recognise warning signs, and what action to take to protect those at risk.

What are county lines gangs and cuckooing? Why are they an issue, and why do driver and rider trainers need to be aware of them? What dangers do they pose, and to whom? In this session, we’ll explore these important and topical safeguarding concerns, looking at who may be affected, how to spot the signs, and what action to take. A case study and questions at the end of the session will help you apply these concepts to your everyday training.
